Very Good.

Good, honey.

In these days, there are two books (only) that I can read, and that minister to me.

"My Utmost for HIS Highest" by Oswald Chambers, and "The Hungering Dark" by Frederick

Buechner - and of course THE SCRIPTURES, but THEY are far more than books.

My copy of "Utmost" is at my job at my station. Its the one that has Champer's exact words -

not paraphrased. I have nothing against other translations, it's just that this is the transtlation

Frank Rice sent me - from God (and believe me this is true) during the worst time in my life.

I had never heared of the book, before.

Good, baby.

We'll do it.

It's not working...

ok so the book of the bible thing just isn't working for me write now...sorry...I just started my utmost for His highest by Oswald Chambers and I thought since I know you have that book too maybe that would work better...if it doesn't work for you that's ok but that's the tool I'm using write now to plug into the word...
so I'm on day two and I keep running over the last sentence in my mind...so much so that I'm up writing this to you...the day is titled "Will you go out without knowing"?...and the last line is this...You must learn to "go out" through your convictions, creeds, or experiences until you come to the point in your faith where there is nothing between yourself and God. Could you imagine that dad...what if in your faith there was nothing between you and God...what would you hear him say...how far would we go to do His will?? What does that even look like??? How do we get there??? Maybe the first step is to identify what is standing between us...what sin has crept into my life that I excuse away, what flashes of glitter steel my attention from my precious God...what do I hold up in my hands above my head shouting NO I WILL NOT LAY It DOWN this is more important than You...
yes...I think I'll start there...
I love you my father...pray for God to reveal truth to me concerning this...
